Steven Berson

Principal
Steve has over 42 years of experience in tax and business management services for clients in the entertainment industry, professional sports, high net worth clients, and small businesses and individuals. He takes great satisfaction from being a “Personal CFO” and takes great satisfaction of knowing he is helping families achieve their goals for financial freedom. Steve graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Business Economics in 1982 and has a Masters of Business Taxation from USC in 1985.

Steve and his wife of 32 years, Tracie, live in Agoura and have two adult children, Alex and Emma. Steve enjoys playing tennis, hiking, traveling, and being replenished by mother nature!

Jennifer is the Director of our Business Management Department. She brings over 27 years of experience working with clients in the entertainment industry and high net-worth individuals. As the business manager for busy and growing families, she supervises the daily business and financial aspects of her clients’ lives so they can continue to thrive in their work and spend more time doing what they love. She is a trusted confidant for all her clients, leveraging relationships with agents, attorneys, banks, insurance advisors and specialty concierge services to cater to their various needs. Working closely with clients and their talent and business reps, Jennifer is their advocate for success and happiness.

Brie has over  20 years experience in business management, helping clients with their finances and building relationships. She loves elephants and dogs.

Account Manager

Kerri started his business management career in 2012 with Berson Financial Group while earning his Associates Degree in Accounting. After working in accounting departments for Aerospace and Fortune 500 companies, he returned to his business management roots in late 2023.

Shannon Gwyn

Account Manager

Shannon is a passionate individual who chases after the pursuit of client satisfaction. With 8 year of accounting experience, she works on every task with great knowledge and detail.  She has a wide range of educational and accounting background and is certified in many accounting software platforms. Shannon is well versed in a full cycle of accounting from accounts payable to financial planning. She will make you rest easy knowing all your business management needs are fulfilled.

Sharyn Verdugo

Bookkeeper

Sharyn is responsible for maintaining accounting and bookkeeping for clients. She has been with the firm for 12 years preparing periodic financial statements and taking care of state and local governmental compliance requirements.
